Leuba Louis Belt
Watch Information:
Louis Leuba is a relatively discreet Swiss brand, launched in the early 1950s by a watchmaker who had previously worked for Favre-Leuba. The name
“Leuba” was officially registered in 1960, then “Leuba Louis Geneva” in 1965.
The house then became known for its elegant and affordable watches, notably dress models with rectangular cases inspired by the Tank style. In the 1970s, Leuba Louis offered mechanical watches, then quartz models with designs highly representative of that era.
This Leuba Louis adopts the aesthetic of the famous Cartier Ceinture, with its octagonal case giving it a silhouette different from classic round watches.
The black dial contrasts with the Roman numerals and sword hands. A railway minute track frames the center of the dial and highlights its design, continuing the shape of the case.
This Leuba Louis is aimed at those looking for a fine vintage watch with a strong character, without compromising on elegance.
